Mark your calendars because Employee Appreciation Day is coming up on **Friday, March 6, 2026**. And to help you celebrate this day (and throughout the month!), we put together a toolkit for you. Here’s what’s inside: 

- **2026 March Recognition Calendar**: Back by popular demand, this calendar has daily recognition prompts so you can celebrate all month long.  
- **New! Daily Recognition Prompts**: We took each prompt from the calendar and turned them into their own graphics to use in your Kudos platform, your internal channels or on social media to help encourage recognition.

You can now add custom questions to award nominations, helping you gather the right details upfront.

### How KidsPeace Reduced Nurse Turnover By 73%   

KidsPeace’s mission-driven work is deeply meaningful but emotionally demanding. Like many healthcare organizations, KidsPeace faced a few big challenges:

- 💌 Creating consistent recognition across locations and job types 
- 🌐 Connecting teams who don't work in the same space or schedule 
- 🌟 Reinforcing values in daily work, not just in written statements

When KidsPeace introduced Kudos in 2017, something shifted: leaders started using recognition to motivate staff, teams reported feeling more connected, and recognition was happening more often and in-the-moment.  

The numbers reflected this too: KidsPeace saw a significant reduction in nurse turnover going from **15% to 4% (that’s a 73% decrease).**
